Mark Del Figgalo is a recurring character in the Nickelodeon series Zoey 101. He is Quinn Pensky's ex-boyfriend. Before he and Quinn broke up, he was involved with most of her experiments. It was revealed in Zoey 102 that he married Stacey Dillsen and is now a Field Producer for Stacey Dillsen's Podcast Slaughters Murder. He was one of Groomsmen in Logan and Quinn's wedding. He is portrayed by Jack Salvatore, Jr..

Character History

He made cameos throughout Season 1, making his first appearance in "New Roomies" as Dustin's Spanish student. He made his first major appearance in "Quinn's Date," and has been Quinn's boyfriend since Season 1. He has no emotions and has kissed Quinn several times; however, the first time they kissed was in "The Radio," two years after they started dating. He loves salami and likes plain (no butter, sour cream, etc.) baked potatoes. He’s also lactose intolerant. He also collects rocks, as shown is some of the later episodes.

In "Quinn Misses the Mark," he breaks up with Quinn and starts dating a girl named Brooke, who he feels he has more in common with her. They continue dating for the rest of the series, until Brooke breaks up with him sometime around "Chasing Zoey" (the series finale), because she felt that he wasn't "exciting" enough.

Michael, Logan, Chase, and sometimes Zoey usually just call him by his last name - Del Figgalo - whereas Quinn, Lola and Dustin (including Nicole and Dana) usually call him Mark. Michael and Logan also sometimes call him Del-Figgs. He also collects antique calendars and likes to knit. He is seen dancing with Stacey at the end of Chasing Zoey. The girls he has dated are: Courtney (Season 1), Quinn Pensky (Seasons 1-4), Brooke Margolin (Season 4), and Stacey Dillsen (Season 4).

Mark appears in 28 episodes in Zoey 101 and is one of the four recurring characters that appear in all four seasons.

Relationships

Quinn Pensky

Ex-Girlfriend

Mark and Quinn started dating in Quinn's Date for over 2 years until Quinn Misses the Mark. They often worked on experiments together in episodes such as Zoey's Ribs and The Great Vince Blake. Mark later asked for a break from Quinn when he was actually cheating on her with another girl named Brooke. Quinn reinvented herself to get Mark back, but he told her he wasn't interested as he liked Brooke too much. Quinn walked off heartbroken, ending things for good and instead found comfort in Logan, who would become Quinn's boyfriend.

Brooke Margolin

Ex-Girlfriend

Mark met Brooke during one of his classes and helped tutor her, but they ended up falling for each other and soon started to date even though Mark was still dating Quinn at the time. However, Brooke broke up with Mark around the time of prom in Chasing Zoey, as she found him too boring.

Stacey Dillsen

Prom Date/Wife

Mark and Stacey ended up dancing together after she ran off from Logan after hearing that Logan used Stacey to hide his relationship with Quinn. Stacey and Mark spent the rest of the night dancing together, but it’s unknown if anything came from that. It was later revealed in Zoey 102 that they are now married.

Relationships with the Gang

When Mark was dating Quinn, he would sometimes hang out with her friends like in The Great Vince Blake and Alone at PCA. Zoey and Lola were often nice to Mark as he was Quinn's boyfriend, but Chase, Michael and Logan liked to often make fun of Mark but were sometimes kind to him like when he got hit in the face with a basketball and helped him although Logan stated he didn't care that Mark was bleeding. There were hints to Logan possibly being jealous of Mark and liked to tease him because he could have been jealous. Mark helped Logan and Michael defend Chase in front of Vince Blake in The Great Vince Blake, but they all got beaten up by him and the rest of the football team. Logan however, showed slight jealousy when Quinn and Lola mentioned Mark as Logan was now Quinn's boyfriend and Mark wasn't anymore, much to everyone's suspicions and confusion. Zoey saw Mark as a friend and defended him when Quinn thought Mark was cheating on her in Quarantine, but Zoey told Quinn to trust Mark as he was her boyfriend. However, Zoey later showed a dislike for Mark when she (and Lola) saw him cheating on Quinn at Sushi Rox.
