Miss PCA is the twenty-second episode in Season 3 and the 48th overall episode in the Nickelodeon TV series, Zoey 101. The episode aired on December 2, 2007.

Plot

Logan hosts a new "Miss PCA" beauty pageant. While Zoey, Lola and Chase initially found the event degrading, the girls asked to join when Logan revealed the prize of the contest: the chance to be on the cover of Buzz Magazine. And when Zoey and Lola find out, they sign up, but Zoey and Lola become competitive and start sabotaging each other. In the meantime, Michael desperately tries to make Quinn laugh at his jokes.

Episode Trivia

• Paul Butcher (Dustin Brooks) did not appear in this episode, although he was mentioned by Zoey when she and Lola were teasing Chase about his tighty-whities.
• This episode marks the only time Zoey and Lola fight.
• Quinn says that if an atom loses a proton, it becomes negative. However, If an atom loses a proton it becomes a new atom. The actual joke involves losing an electron; if an electron is lost, the atom becomes positive. An atom actually becomes negative when it adds an electron.
• The popcorn Chase is cooking is Boy Scout popcorn.
• If you look closely enough, you'll see that Zoey was right: Lola's wrap really did fall into the mud on its own.
• The first question Chase asks Zoey is very similar to Carly and Sam's response to a pageant question in iCarly.
• According to Lola, tuition for PCA is kind of expensive, but it's not nearly as expensive as the typical college tuition.
